Essiac Tea Supplies - Item #1: A Large Pot That Doesn't Contain Aluminum on the Cooking Surface

Here is a stainless steel pot we recommend for brewing Essiac Tea. This type of pot will allow for a clean healthy brew of Essiac - free of chemicals or other unwanted substances. Any pot that isn't made with aluminum where it would touch the Essiac is fine to use. Pots with aluminum cores are fine.

Essiac Tea Supplies - Item #2: A Large Pitcher

This is an example of a pitcher that could be used due to the materials it's made from as well as the option to open the top of the pitcher easily for stirring. You can use any pitcher for Essiac tea that you'd normally use for iced tea or lemonade. Glass is not necessary, but if you like to always use glass, feel free to use glass for your Essiac, too.

 

If you do prefer to use glass pitchers, keep in mind that most of them are 64 oz. or smaller. That means you'll need at least two to hold a gallon of Essiac. If you are looking to improve health, you will want to make 1 gallon of Essiac at a time and you can divide it up into two containers, making sure to include about the same amount of sediment in each.

Essiac Tea Supplies - Item 3: Large Wooden Spoon

We suggest stirring your Essiac with a large wooden spoon before pouring each serving so that some of the powdered herbs make it into each and every serving that you pour. You also might use the spoon to drape over the top of the pot to prevent boiling over when you brew your Essiac. Depending on your climate and stove that may or may not be necessary. Essiac Tea Supplies - Item #4: Kitchen Scale (if Your Order 1 lb. Bulk Bags Instead of the Premeasured 4 oz. or 1 oz. Packets)
