Learn Why Essiac is Taken as a Tea
Essiac is called a tea because of the fact that it is brewed. However, it isn't taken like traditional tea that you'd drink for pleasure. It is brewed in a large batch (most typically a gallon) and stored in the refrigerator. You are to leave the powdered herbs in the gallon and stir the pitcher before each serving size so that some of the herbs get into each and every serving. This is just as Rene Caisse did. By preparing your Essiac tea the same way Rene Caisse did, you will be able to receive the same benefits that she got, as documented in the book The Essiac Report by Richard Thomas.
We are proud to say that our Essiac tea is the only brand backed by a Results Guarantee. If your health doesn't improve, you don't pay! Read more.

Suggested Serving Size of Essiac
The suggested serving size is 3 oz. at a time, which is just under 1/2 cup liquid measure. It's best not to re-heat the tea once it's made. If you cannot drink it cold, you can leave it out for an hour or so to take it at room temperature. If you are out and about and would like to take Essiac along with you, you can bring your serving with you in a thermos with some ice cubes thrown to ensure that it stays chilled.
Beware of Other Essiac Blends
In some health food stores, you will see Essiac being sold under the brand name "Flor Essence." The same eight Essiac herbs are found in that formula as you'll find in ours. However, theirs costs 5 times as much on average.
If you encounter four herb Essiac, please be aware that four herb Essiac is an outdated formula that was later improved upon by Rene Caisse. Rene Caisse performed research on Essiac alongside Dr. Charles Brusch at the Brusch Medical Research Center from 1959 through 1967. They determined that the eight herb Essiac was the best Essiac formula to use moving forward.
