Suggested Serving Size of Essiac Tea

The suggested serving size is 3 oz. at a time, which is just under 1/2 cup liquid measure.

• It's best to take the tea cold straight from the refrigerator to maintain the efficacy. If you cannot drink it cold, you can leave it out for an hour or so to take it at room temperature.
• If you are out and about and would like to take Essiac along with you, you can bring your serving with you in a thermos with some ice cubes thrown to ensure that it stays chilled.
• You will receive nutrition from your Essiac in the form of vitamins and minerals.
• Taking Essiac doesn't break a fast or contain digestible carbs, fats or proteins. It does contain a fit of fiber, and you can learn more about the benefits of the fiber in Essiac here.

The maximum suggested serving size of Essiac tea is 6 oz. three times per day.

Please don't exceed 18 oz. of tea per day, because the Essiac nutrition contents could potentially provide you with too many minerals at higher levels than 18 oz. per day. In addition, you won't gain any more benefits from going beyond the 18 oz. per day.

Beware of Other Essiac Blends That Are Overpriced or Not Authentic

If you encounter four herb Essiac, please be aware that four herb Essiac is an outdated formula that was later improved upon by Rene Caisse. Rene Caisse performed research on Essiac alongside Dr. Charles Brusch at the Brusch Medical Research Center from 1959 through 1967.
