Copy of Congratulations! You've Found Genuine Essiac.
The letter below demonstrates our connection to Rene Caisse's research assistant, Dr. Charles Brusch. Rene Caisse and Dr. Brusch are pictured in the photo we provide below this letter.
PICTURED BELOW: Dr. Charles Brush, shown on the far left, with Rene Caisse in the center conducting research at the Brusch Medical Research Center.
The most extensive research ever performed on essiac tea was done in Cambridge Massachusetts from 1959-1967 by Rene Caisse and Dr. Charles Brusch. Caisse's name, spelled backwards, is "Essiac." For more info. on this research, check out "The Essiac Report" by Richard Thomas.
This research closely examined the properties of the original four herb formula and sought to improve upon it with the addition of four more herbs. The research produced a superior eight herb formula which Rene Caisse ultimately endorsed as the best formula to use moving forward.
Our family lives near this research facility. We became friends with Dr. Brusch through a common friend named Arthur David. He referred our family to the essiac tea formula back in 1986. The tea worked so well that we began referring many others to the formula and we began to hold weekly meetings for essiac users to gather and share information (this is before the internet took off!).
By 1992 this group had become so large our group was featured on an episode of the Cathy Burnham Show. Essiac being featured on this show led to an increased demand for essiac tea. To keep up with the larger demand, Dr. Brusch needed to designate someone to help continue providing essiac tea at the best price to as many people as possible. Once he retired from the work he left the job to us. The letter above confirms his wishes to pass on the formula to us in order to carry on his and Rene Caisse's mission.
