Essiac tea is completely safe to take alongside chemo and/or radiation treatments. If you are receiving these treatments, it is suggested that you take 6 oz. of Essiac three times per day, rather than the usual 3 oz. three times per day. This is because those treatments can lessen the effects of Essiac. However, the good news is that Essiac tea doesn't lessen the effectiveness of chemo or radiation, so you are good there.

And you can take supplements with Essiac because supplements aren't considered food, which is why they can be taken at any time.

The bottom line is that there are no contraindiations with any medications or any other supplements and Essiac tea. Essiac has a proven track record for safety in this way. Always check with your doctor if you have personal questions or concerns about contraindications with things you are taking.

Right now I suffer of IBS, SIBO, lactose intolerance, gluten intolerance and chronic constipation. Also suffer of hypothyroidism, high blood pressure and high colesterol. I would like to know if this tea will be good for me, what to buy and how to take it. It would be wonderful if you could direct me to the right choice and information. Thanks
