Hello friends.
My husband and I have been enjoying Essiac for seven months now.
We’d heard about it nine years ago while watching a video series entitled “truth about cancer“. Deciding right then and there that if either one of us ever got cancer, we would absolutely add Essiac Tea to our regime of healthcare.
Last year, my husband was diagnosed with stage two pancreatic cancer. And has chosen to treat it with alternative medicine. We have included the Essiac tea as one very important component to Rogers recovery.
After undergoing the Whipple procedure surgery, he has faithfully taken his Essiac tea every single day. Along with the treatment ( tonic and herbs) he is receiving from Mexico. So far, he is what we call NED ( no evidence of disease) . The quality of life up to this point has been wonderful. Only god knows what Roger future will be but we are happy to say that he is feeling great today.

adding raw honey
I see some people not liking the taste. I add raw honey to mine while making it. It adds an extra health benefit and helps a lot with the taste. :-)

Horrible tasting
I was really looking forward to trying this product because of the health benefits that they claim. It has such a horrible taste that I was not able to drink it. The company suggested adding lemon juice or stevia and neither one helped with trying to mask the bad taste.

Thank you for your honest feedback. We are sorry to hear that. It is common for folks to feel like the taste of Essiac is too bitter for them, especially the more toxins are in their body. The more toxins you have, the more bitterness you will taste.
The solution is to add as much fruit or vegetable juice, stevia, lemon juice, ginger tea, herbal tea or extra water that you need in order to help yourself tolerate it.
Please keep in mind that the goal of it isn't taste, it's results, and most customers get used to it after a few days, especially with the added sweetener.
Please hang in there, I promise that it gets better, and the benefits will be well worth any struggle in the beginning. You will be able to join the many others who thought it was too bitter but were able to overcome that with a little bit of patience.

I’ve been using Essiac tea since May 2023. I love this product. I used it sporadically until May of 2024. I had a 20 year history of hypothyroidism that required medication. Oct 2024 I discontinued my medication, a check of my labs in March 2025 showed normal values. The fist normal values in 20 years. I will continue essiac tea & now have it on an auto ship refill subscription. By the way. I feel great.
