Shipping Policies at Genuine Essiac
Shipping Schedule
We ship orders every Tuesday and Friday. Last batch of orders is closed at 12pm ET, meaning that anything that comes in after that will go out the next shipping day. Please be aware that there can be a slight lag between when you place the order and when our system receives it.
Tracking Information
If you have provided us with an email address when you placed you order, tracking will be emailed once the parcel leaves our warehouse. It will come from the address support @ genuineessiac.com.
Domestic Orders (Non Wholesale)
Domestic shipping for non wholesale orders is free. Most non-wholesale domestic orders ship via 2-3 day Priority Mail. On occasion we ship UPS instead when the transit time is similar. We will not ship UPS if you use a PO Box. Keep in mind that the transit time is an estimate, not a guarantee, and starts counting from the ship date, not from the date you place your order.
Wholesale Orders (Domestic and International)
There will be a charge for shipping for wholesale orders in spite of the message at the top of our shopping cart. We are working on being able to adjust that. Our apologies. On our wholesale page it details the fact that there is a shipping fee. For international wholesale orders, you will be responsible for customs and may be charged VAT. Keep in mind that the transit time is an estimate, not a guarantee, and starts counting from the ship date, not from the date you place your order.
International Orders
We label our product 'herbal tea' for customs. You may responsible for customs fees to import the product into your country. If your country shows on our checkout page, we have been able to successfully ship to your country without issues. You may be asked to enter your Tax ID in order to complete check out.
Our customers report that charges are similar for a small parcel and a large parcel, so we suggest ordering the largest parcel you can use within 2 years to save as much money as possible on customs fees.
We offer USPS, UPS and DHL for international shipping, but all three methods might not be available in all locations. Available methods will populate on the shopping cart once you have entered our address. DHL parcels are signature required. The other carriers will not be signature required.
Keep in mind that the transit time and delivery date is an estimate, not a guarantee, and starts counting from the ship date, not from the date you place your order. Please keep in mind that at times customs will hold your parcel and perhaps request additional information from you or us, which varies greatly from country to country and year to year. We will do our best to provide that information, and refund you for the cost of the product if it's not able to successfully arrive to you.
If your country, in the unusual event, creates an issue with your import, you may consider having the parcel sent to a friend in a neighboring country. We are happy to send a second attempt if this is necessary to allow you to receive your order at no extra cost to you.
Missing Orders
Any domestic parcel that takes longer than 2 weeks to arrive after your purchase date will be replaced at no cost to you. Any international parcel that takes longer than 6 weeks to arrive after your purchase date will be replaced at no cost to you. Any parcel that is marked "Delivered" but does not show up after 24 hours will be replaced immediately at no cost to you. It's our successful Shipping Guarantee!
Damaged Orders
Any parcel that is damaged in transit will be replaced in part or in full at no cost to you, depending on the amount of damage (if one bag is affected, we will replace one bag). If all bags are affected, we will replace the entire order.
Adjusting Shipping Destination in Transit
USPS and UPS do not allow us to adjust shipping destination in transit, so you are not going to be able to alter that once the order has been dispatched. If you are able to reach our customer support 24 hours before your order is set to leave our warehouse we will be able to adjust your shipping address if needed. If you order via DHL, we are able to re-route your package even after it's been shipped. Note that we are only able to use DHL for international parcels.
