I'm sure the taste of herbs can change, but I can barely get this last batch down. Smells and taste different. I'm trying though. I'm convinced its helping. Hoping the next order with taste different.

Thank you for your honest feedback. It's normal for Essiac tea batches to vary in taste, color and texture. The product is minimally processed and contains no additives or preservatives. Because of that, you are getting natural herbs that are never going to behave the exact same way from batch to batch. You might have 2 years of the batches seeming very similar, but then a batch that seems quite different.
You also could get different experiences from various bags in the same order. It all has to do with the factors that go into the growth of each herb that is part of the blend.
We recommend adding as much unsweetened fruit or vegetable juice, lemon juice or stevia to your Essiac to help out if you are finding the product to be too bitter. Please keep in mind that the goal of it isn't taste, it's results, and most customers get used to it after a few days, especially with the added sweetener.
Please hang in there, I promise that it gets better, and the benefits will be well worth any struggle in the beginning. You will be able to join the many others who thought it was too bitter but were able to overcome that with a little bit of patience.

i bought this by mistake thinking it was the original 4 herb recipe so i have not used it.i found the proper essiac tea from another site and ordered that instead.Essiac tea is supposed to only have 4 herbs in it not 8 as you sold me.

We apologize for any confusion with our product. It sounds like you didn't know that the 4 herb formula is outdated. It was improved upon in research for 8 years by Rene Caisse and Dr. Charles Brusch. This research occurred from the years of 1959 through 1967. The outcome of that research was an eight herb formula, the one that Rene Caisse ended up sticking with moving forward. This research is documented in the book The Essiac Report by Richard Thomas.
Because the 8 herb tea is more effective, we are able to offer a money back guarantee that health will improve when the product is taken for at least 6 months. None of the 4 herb companies are able to offer that guarantee.
