Brewed Essiac Tea and the Essiac Herbs Have Different Lengths of Time for Staying Fresh
You may be wondering if Essiac Tea goes bad, whether you're thinking about the herbs themselves or the liquid tea. Since Genuine Essiac™ doesn't contain potentially harmful additives or preservatives, this is important information to consider.
Let's start with the Herbs - Do Essiac Herbs Go Bad?
Essiac powdered herbs, the very same kind Rene Caisse used, stay fresh for 2 years when stored in a relatively cool, dark place. Any place that's appropriate for a person to live is OK for the herbs to live, too! For example, if you are living in a 90 degree room all summer but you are able to cope with that temperature, that is OK for the herbs as well. You just want to be sure to keep them out of direct sunlight, out of locked cars in the summer sun and away from blowing heaters. A kitchen cabinet works well for most people.
We suggest that you keep the herbs in the same food safe packaging that they arrived in. If you don't use all of the bag at once, you can tie it shut with a twist-tie such as what you receive when you buy a loaf of bread. You could store the bag in a tupperware type container if you like.
There is no benefit to buying a small supply of herbs frequently so that they stay fresh - buying a 1-year or even a 2-year supply is perfectly fine and will save you money. The 6 lb. 8 oz. order will last one adult 1 year at the improvement of health serving size to give you an idea.

What About the Brewed Essiac Tea - How Long Does That Stay Fresh?
Brewed Essiac Tea stays fresh when stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks. You can store it in the type of pitcher you'd use for iced tea - it doesn't have to be anything fancy.
We recommend using an open top pitcher so that you can easily stir the tea before pouring each serving. By stirring the tea right before pouring, you will more evenly disperse the herbs so that you get some into each and every serving. By including the powder in the tea.
Once again, there is no benefit to preparing a smaller amount of Essiac more often so that it's "fresher." It works the same as long as you use it up by the 2-3 week mark. At the most common usage level for one adult, this means you'll go through a gallon of Essiac once every two weeks. Our convenient 4 oz. packets make one gallon - with no measuring or weighing required! Order by clicking here.

Thank you, objibway( spelling?) Indian Tribe for sharing this recipe of Essiac Tea, with our Godly friend, Caisse.
I called with some questions today and Brian answered. He generously gave me his time and answered my questions and taught me more about the tea. I am so appreciative of his personal attention! Thank you so much!!
I make up 2 qts. of tea at a time. My wife takes 2 oz. twice a day and I take 2 oz. once a day. Have been doing this for nearly 8 years. It has worked wonders for my wife. Without this tea I really don’t believe my wife would be here today.
I’ve been buying my Essiac Tea from the Amish. They sale the tea at a reasonable price. What is the price of your Essiac Tea? Most of my herb products come from the Amish Markets.
