I chose to buy in bulk and weigh the powder with a kitchen scale for each batch. The estimated measurement (in cups) on the instructions is very different from the actual weight that is listed for each batch size. I verified this with three separate scales.

Hi Rob,
Thank you for your review.
To make a gallon of tea you need to add 4 oz. dry weight on a scale (113 grams) of the Essiac powder to 134 oz of water. We don't recommend using cups to measure the herbs becasue they are not very accurate. Please actually weigh your herbs on a kitchen scale to ensure you have the correct amount (a very rough approximation of 4 oz. dry herbs - which weighs 113 grams - is 1 1/4 cups of herbs when using dry measurement cups instead of a kitchen scale). It is much more precise to weigh than measure since the herbs settle at varying rates, which making measuring with cups far less accurate.
