About Author Sherri Mack, BSN-RN

Sherri Mack, BSN-RN, is a seasoned nurse with 35+ years of experience, including 25 years in holistic nursing and over a decade in the plant medicine arena. She gained her BSN-RN from Boston College. The BSN is a 4-year undergraduate degree that provides a broader and more comprehensive nursing education than an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and is typically held by those who seek leadership or management positions in the nursing scope.

She holds many certifications and has worked across diverse specialties including critical care, oncology, pediatrics, home care, palliative care, hospice and end of life care, cannabis, and psychedelics. Sherri is a respected leader in the cannabis industry, serving as a nurse, advocate, and educator who bridges traditional medicine with integrative healing approaches. She mentors health professionals on the endocannabinoid system and the safe, effective use of plant medicines.

• Sherri is the Co-founder and Chief Nursing Officer at Holistic Caring & The Green Nurse, Vice President of Nursing at Bloom Hemp CBD, and Host of The Green Nurse Podcast.
• She also serves on the Board of Directors for the American Cannabis Nurses Association (ACNA) and is Chair of ACNA’s Membership and Student Committee.
