Essiac Liquid Extract vs Brewed Tea | 3 Key Differences

Considering Essiac liquid extract? Learn how it differs from traditionally brewed tea, including preparation methods, the role of powdered herbs, and other key factors to consider when choosing between formats. This guide outlines three important differences to help you make an informed decision.

Is Essiac Liquid Extract a Good Option? The Answer is No, and I'll Provide 3 Reasons Why

Essiac liquid extract seems like a great idea at first. After all, it comes in a small bottle chock full of Essiac tea goodness. You don't have to worry about brewing the tea or keeping it cold. However, like most things in life, when you take shortcuts with Essiac tea you lose a lot of the potential benefit.

Reason #1 to Not Use Essiac Liquid Extract: The Brewing Process is Not the Same

The magic of Essiac tea comes when it's brewed just as Rene Caisse did. To brew Genuine Essiac™, you boil the powdered herbs in water for 10 minutes. After that, you leave it out on the stove for 12 hours. After the 12 hours is up you leave the Essiac in a pitcher in your refrigerator. It will stay good for up to 3 weeks in the refrigerator.

The boiling process ensures that the beneficial compounds in the herbs are extracted to their fullest potential. When you skip this brewing process, you may end up skipping a lot of the benefits Essiac has to offer. Learn more about how easy it is to Brew Genuine Essiac here.

Reason #2 to Not Use Essiac Liquid Extract: You Won't Be Able to Consume the Powdered Herbs Along with the Liquid

It's not just the Essiac "tea" that has value - the herbs themselves are important, too. That's why when you brew Genuine Essiac you will keep the powdered herbs in the tea and consume them right along with it. This is the same method Rene Caisse and the Ojibwa people used to consume Essiac. 📺 You can see Rene Caisse working with powdered herbs in this video. Don't mess with success!

Reason #3 to Not Use Essiac Liquid Extract: Most of Them Are Prepared with Alcohol

You don't want to be combining alcohol at the same time as these valuable herbs. Essiac tea can be combined with fruit juice, vegetable juice, lemon juice, other herbal teas and stevia, but mixing alcohol with Essiac tea isn't recommended. And it's especially not recommended to store Essiac in alcohol.
