I was apprehensive about the unknown taste, however it doesn't taste like dirt! It is peculiar but not offensive, better than a lot of medicine tastes. The first thing I noticed was rock solid sleep. A day later I noticed more frequent BMs. no problem. I'll stick with it.
The tea is already prepackaged in 4oz bags. Ready measured. Boil water, slowly add tea a liitle at a time, stir as you mix in tea & steep 10 minutes. Let set in pot for 12 hours, refrigerate and enjoy your drink & way back to health.
Was taking a good 4 ingredient essiac for 2 years, but changed to 8 ingredient Genuine Essiac when it seemed the cancer might be doing something. Have been taking it religiously for 5 months and the doctors think the cancer has grown since then and possibly metatasized. I don't know if this essiac is helping hold back faster growth or making any difference. I'm assuming it is helping in some way. It appears that the guarantee only applies if you never miss a day or dose in 6 months. I've skipped a dose or 2 as life required.

We recommend taking Essiac Tea continuously for at least 6 months, 3 oz three times a day (or 6 oz for the aggressive serving size) to see more significant improvement. Some people experience sooner improvement but that is not common.
Unfortunately it lessens the effectiveness of having breaks on the tea, consistency is important, especially if you are looking to improve a specific health condition. Think about how if you were taking ibuprofen and it was said to be 3x a day, if you skipped one of the times it wouldn't work as well. Each time you skip a serving of Essiac it allows the bad stuff in the body to take better hold versus being purged out.
Please continue taking it for at least 6 months to see a more significant improvement in your health.
