Video: Why the Eight Herb Essiac Formula is the One You Want
Gina Paulhus here with GenuineEssiac.com. Today I'm going to go over with you the eight herbs in Essiac tea.
They are: Blessed Thistle, Burdock Root, Kelp, Red Clover, sheep sorrel, Turkish rhubarb root, watercress, and slippery elm bark. You may have heard that Essiac tea only has four herbs. What's up? Well, I'll tell you.
Essiac tea did start out as a four herb formula. However, nurse Rene Caisse and Dr. Charles Brusch researched this formula from the years of 1959 through 1967. During their research, they were able to determine that one Essiac tea formula outperformed all the others, and that formula was an eight herb powdered blend.
You will see that some companies still sell the four herb tea, and you might wonder why. That's a good question. A lot of those companies simply don't know the eight herb formula. There are some companies out there that do, and you're welcome to buy from them.
The only thing is you wanna check into pricing because a lot of the times, these companies will charge a lot more per ounce of herbs than we charge here at Genuine Essiac.
The other thing to know is that Dr. Brusch really wanted to make sure that companies didn't price gouge and didn't charge too much for their tea. So that's one of the reasons why they entrusted the Paulhus family with the Essiac. They wanted us to keep it at a very affordable price, and to this day, we do keep it at around a dollar a day to use.
