Let's start with the Herbs - Do Essiac Herbs Go Bad?
Essiac powdered herbs, which the very same kind Rene Caisse used, stay fresh for 2 years when stored properly. Store packets of herbs at room temperature in a cupboard. If you open a packet and need to save some Essiac for later, reseal it with a twist-tie (such as the kind that comes with a loaf of bread). Unopened packets of herbs stay fresh for 2 years. After steeping, brewed tea should be stored in the refrigerator. It will stay good for 3 weeks. Do not freeze herbs or the brewed tea, as the freezing process can reduce the efficiacy of the formula.
We suggest that you store the herbs in the same food-safe packaging that they arrived in. If you don't use all of the bag at once, you can tie it shut with a twist-tie such as what you receive when you buy a loaf of bread. You could store the bag in a tupperware type container if you like. Keeping the bag airtight is the name of the game.

What About the Brewed Essiac Tea - How Long Does That Stay Fresh?
Brewed Essiac Tea stays fresh when stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks. You can store it in the type of pitcher you'd use for iced tea - it doesn't have to be anything fancy. The tea would have cooled by the time you store it in the fridge making it as easy to store as lemonade.
