Will be taking GET for life!

I have been taking GET for almost a year. All bloat went away after the first week. My digestive system has never felt better. My sleep improved, foods I had developed reactions to no longer bother me, my skin looks healthier, my hair and nails are stronger, I no longer have seasonal allergies to pollen, my sinuses are no longer clogged, my reactions to bug bites are not as severe, there are just so many wonderful changes that have happened since taking this tea. Dosing issue

The customer support is excellent. Price is fair. The dosing is an issue. Many of us don't need a 3-hour window, three times a day without food. I take one dose in the middle of the night. I don't like any fluids before bedtime. So this is the main struggle for me because I'm trying to maintain my weight and not eat heavy meals.

The good news is that the spacing and the 3-hour window are more of a nice-to-do guideline than a hard-and-fast rule. The one part that really matters is simply taking each serving on an empty stomach — generally about 2 hours after eating and 1 hour before eating again. As long as you work around that, you have a lot of freedom in how you fit your servings into your day.

A couple of things that may help with your specific situation:

• You don't need heavy meals to take Essiac. A light snack is perfectly fine — you just want your stomach empty at serving time, so there's no need to eat more than you'd like to accommodate it.
• If you'd rather not have fluids right before bedtime, you don't have to. You can move that serving to another empty-stomach window during the day instead — for example, in the afternoon while you're out and about. Bringing a thermos with a little ice makes it easy to sneak a serving in whenever your stomach happens to be empty.

Taking it three times a day is what we recommend when the goal is to get the most from the tea, but where those three servings land in your day is flexible. The aim is just to fit one into the morning, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening in whatever way works best for your routine.

The tea was shipped in a US Postal Service plastic shipping bag. No protection for the tea inside. One bag was torn open, tea EVERYWHERE. The high cost of this item alone should have at least justified it being shipped in a cardboard box.

The schedule for taking the tea 3x daily is not possible when on a chemo regimen. Having to eat small meals every so often to keep food down prevents this. I have suspended the tea until which time it is feasible again. I am getting treatment for a solitary fibrous tumor of the pleura which is a very rare subtype of sarcoma.
