For the average user, it makes way more sense to make a gallon. If you're new to the product or if you wish to improve your health, the one gallon is your best bet. The reason is your gallon will stay fresh in that refrigerator for the two to three week period. If you take the Essiac as recommended 3oz, three times per day, that gallon will last you two weeks. So there's no reason to make a smaller amount. If you're wondering whether or not you need a special pitcher to store your gallon of Essiac, you don't. You have the option of two smaller containers, or you could simply use one large container. Any pitcher that you typically use to make iced tea and store iced tea is perfectly fine for your Essiac. If you have a larger pet, one that weighs eighty five pounds or more, you'll also greatly benefit from making the gallon at a time. Likewise, if you have a family or multiple people taking the tea, then certainly the gallon is your best bet. So don't make it too complicated on yourself.
