Genuine Essiac™: Why We Still Sell Something "Ugly" After 40 Years
Again, not your grandmother's tea. You'll find a lot of people trying to solicit you to take this in more appealing versions. Take out the herbs. As I said, yummy, tastes great, just like conventional tea, but you're doing a huge disservice because you've taken out the thing that cleans out the intestines. But they sell like hotcakes and it's unregulated and they can make any claim. You don't want that yucky stuff. We sell something that's ugly. It's the ugliest version.
And for 40 years I've been doing this, since 1986. So you tell me, how are we still here forty years later selling something ugly unless there's a reason to take it? There's a reason for the ugly path. If you're seeing shortcuts, be very skeptical. If you see it in capsules, be very skeptical. If you see people reheating this, what you've done is a massive disservice to this because you start with a 10 minute boil, you make a gallon at a time for the ease of making a batch every 2 weeks, and that starts the extraction process of a 10 minute extraction by boiling it of all the medicinal compounds into it. Over the next 12 hours, 12-24 hours actually, those compounds continue to leach into the tea.
After 12 hours to 24 hours, it is done. If you were to then reheat it like they recommend, clean out the herbs, make it a hot drinking tea, you know, just it is not your grandmother's tea as it says. Again, reheating it destroys the compounds that have already been extracted. It's overprocessing it. So be aware of all these things that try to make it easier. There is no easy path through getting healthy.
