Last year, after hearing rave reviews on Essiac, I finally gave it a go. I don’t have cancer, I was just genuinely curious about this detox tea. So I bought a 1 lb bag that I took religiously three times a day on an empty stomach.

First of all, the bag lasted only 6 weeks instead of the 2/3 months publicized, but besides that, my experience was fantastic. I suffer from adult acne and during the time I was taking the tea, Hell, I never looked better. I was completely amazed to see such dramatic results in little more than a month’s time. The whole time I was thinking to myself, if Essiac is doing so much “outside” just imagine what it’s doing to my “inside” !!

Both my husband and I have become long-term users as we've both been touched by cancer..breast and prostate. Genuine essiac tea is part of an extensive protocol for our healing and we are both doing well. I would definitely recommend the tea as a complement to other strategies including diet, lifestyle and supplements.

Grittier than previous batches.

Ships quickly.
The past 2 batches of tea have cooked up much grittier, with less mucilage, than previous batches.
Is there still slippery elm in the tea?

Yes, slippery elm bark is still one of the eight herbs in every batch of Genuine Essiac, and our formula hasn't changed. Our all-natural herbs may vary in taste, texture, and appearance due to natural growing conditions and seasonal changes. Slippery elm grown in rainier seasons produces more of its natural 'slime,' while drier seasons produce less, so some batches will feel more mucilaginous than others. Sometimes a batch at the end of the grinding process can also be a bit more coarse. These natural variations are normal and do not affect the overall quality of the herbs.
