Not For Me

Sorry, but gave it a full month of trying it and it did nothing for me. Worst part is the horrible taste. No amount of sweetener improved it. But the health benefits were non-existent for me.

Essiac tea

I have been drinking this tea since March 2026. The dosage has been 3 oz, 3x a day. Have followed the directions. I really haven’t experienced any changes or differences in the way I feel nor has my blood labs shown any changes good or bad. I am into my 3rd year out from a 12/22 ovarian cancer diagnosis followed by 7 sessions of chemotherapy and 2 years of immunotherapy drug.

What I can help with is the tea itself. Before anything else, would you mind confirming a few details for me? Sometimes small differences in preparation or timing affect the experience:

Were you avoiding food for 2 hours before and 1 hour after each serving?
Did you have coffee (especially with cream or sugar) during the empty-stomach window?
Were there any missed servings along the way?

I only ask so we can make sure the tea was used according to the instructions. It sounds like you've done a great job following the preparation and serving guidelines, which is really important.

If you haven't noticed changes at six months, I would personally give it a full year before deciding it's not for you. Everyone's body works on its own timeline — some notice things sooner, others take longer. You wouldn't be alone in needing more time; this does happen. Ultimately it's your decision, but if you're willing, giving it more time is a reasonable next step.
