We keep our Genuine Essiac™ return policy simple

Orders once placed cannot be canceled because it causes too much confusion for the shipping department and the timing doesn't always allow us to intercept the request prior to the order being shipped.

However, you may return unopened product for up to 30 days from date of purchase. Product returrned that was purchased more than 30 days ago will not be refunded. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable. As long as you postmark it by 30 days from the date your order was placed you'll be within the 30 day window.

You also may receive a replacement for any order that arrives in damaged condition. Simply contact us in that case and there is usually no need to return the product that was shipped to you. 

Please note that if you don't like the taste of Essiac tea, you can add many things to it to improve the taste. You can see that list here. Also note that most people get used to the taste with time. Keep in mind, you're drinking the tea for the benefits and not the taste. If you need some motivation, check out our extensive library of Essiac Tea Testimonials. Essiac tea keeps for up to 2 years, so there is no need to return product if you're not going to use it right away.

Please send an email to support @ genuineessiac.com to let us know the return is on its way with your order number in the email. It's also helpful for us if you can include a note in the box explaining the nature of your return and the name you ordered under if different than what appears on the return label on your box.  

 

International Orders

International shipping charges, duties, taxes, customs fees, and other import-related charges are non-refundable.

If an international order is refused, abandoned, or rejected by the customer or customs authorities, any refund issued will be limited to the product purchase price actually recovered by us. Original shipping charges will not be refunded.

If the carrier, customs authority, or destination country charges us any return shipping, disposal, destruction, storage, customs, or administrative fees as a result of a refused or undeliverable shipment, those costs will be deducted from any refund before it is issued.

In some countries, refused shipments are destroyed rather than returned to us. If a shipment is destroyed, abandoned, confiscated, or otherwise cannot be recovered, no refund will be issued unless we receive a credit from the carrier or customs authority.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that Genuine Essiac™ products may be legally imported into their country and for paying any duties, taxes, VAT, customs charges, or import fees imposed by their local authorities.

 

When to Expect Your Refund

Refunds are issued for the product purchase price only and do not include original shipping charges, duties, taxes, customs fees, or other non-refundable charges.

We will issue you a refund within 7 days of your return being marked "Delivered" to our address. The refund will appear on the payment method that you used to purchase the product within 5 business days from the date we issue the refund.

If you returned a Subscription autoship order, the credit will take 5-10 business days to post after it's requested, 7 days from when the return is marked Delivered.
