Video: The Eight Herbs in Essiac Tea - and Why It's the New and Improved Essiac Formula You Want
Gina Paulhus here with GenuineEssiac.com. I'm here today to go over the eight herbs in essiac tea. The eight herbs are: blessed thistle, burdock root, kelp, red clover, sheep sorrel, slippery elm bark, watercress and turkish rhubarb root. So you may have heard that Essiac only has four herbs - what's up? I'll tell you. So at one point in time Essiac only was four herb - however Rene Caisse and Dr. Charles Brusch studied this tea at the Brusch Medical Research Center in Cambridge Mass from the years of 1959 through 1967. During their research they were able to determine that the eight herb tea outperformed all of the four herb teas. So at that point they knew that the eight herb formula was best. Now there are still some companies out there selling four herb and that's because they don't have the eight herb formula. The eight herb formula was something that Dr. Brusch wanted to keep protected because he didn't want people to just start price-gouging, charging way too much for this simple herbal remedy. So in order to keep the tea affordable he selected our family as the ones to carry forward the use of Essiac. You may be able to find four herb teas out there but we highly suggest sticking to the eight herb formula which is the one that has been proven to be best for your Essiac tea.
